This is a senior-level Web Engineering position where the person will be involved in the support and installation of the client’s Middleware Environment. This individual will need to have significant experience in managing, implementing, and monitoring the various web components within the environment. Some of the sample components within the environment are Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, and Business Objects.
This individual will also be responsible for delivering/monitoring automation scripts, support documentation on the configuration and tuning of these components to IT Web Operations. There is an expectation that individual understands standard troubleshooting protocols used in Web Middleware architecture.
This position requires the ability to install, configure, support, monitor, assess, and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across the following areas:
– Weblogic Application Server
– Apache/Tomcat/Jboss
– Shell Scripting and automation of key components
