SAP HANA and ASE DBA

Job Description

• Experience in HANA and ASE Database Administration  
• Used HANA Life cycle manager(hdblcm) to administrate and update SAP HANA components  
• Experience on HANA DB Installation, Upgrade, and client Upgrade activities 
• Expertise in EWA report analysis and Parameter implementation  
• Strong knowledge on Table Partition and Redistribution  
• Hands-on in Backup and recovery of HANA and ASE Database (Full DB, Point-in-Time) 
• Replication and DR setup for HANA DB  
• SAP HANA USER and License Administration  
• Worked in Data Volume Reclaim and Table Reorganization of HANA Database.  
• Installation of Plug-in, Tenant Creation/deletion activities.  
• Installation and connectivity of ODBC drivers, Oracle and MSSQL client on HANA environment.  
• Experience in ASE DB Upgrade and client installation  
• ASE DB Repository creation and DBA Cockpit ATM configuration  
• ASE Replication with HADR setup. 
• STOP/Start of ASE SRS Database in HADR setup 
• ASE Standard parameter Implementation.  
• ASE DB space addition/removal 
• DBCC of HANA and ASE DB 

Good to have:  

• MAX DB Upgrade and Restart
• MAX DB Restore/Recovery
• Knowledge on MSSQL Database Administration
