Require L2/L2+ Veritas Netbackup Resource with the Following skill set. Install and configure backup/recovery tools Maintain & update/upgrade backup/recovery tools Create/configure/Execute backup jobs Experience on NBU version 7.x and 8.x. Thorough with change management process Good Understanding of Database backup Resolve backup related incidents – the backup team will provide support for all approved systems. (ex. UNIX, Windows, Linux, VMware) Perform restore testing only as per operational schedule Perform recovery in case of disaster Monitor daily reports of DataDomain, Tape vaulting, Backup status reports. Hardware troubleshooting. Good documentation practices and having clarity with regulations such as GxP, SOX will be an advantage.
