Thunderhead Technical Lead

Job Description

Coding, development, and publication of all system-generated customer communications for all brands in-line with Business demand.

Main Duties:

– Production, editing, and maintenance of multi-channel output from our customer communications platform with attention to adherence to all marketing brand styles.
– Creation/editing of XML data files based on the XML schema and conversion of data file through XML Convertor.
– Creation/manipulation of Style sets, layouts, shared contents, batch configuration, document templates, and directory listener set up for different projects.
– Implementation and documentation of standard development processes.
– Implementation and documentation of changes to Thunderhead configuration files.
– Provide knowledge transfer to other team members on Thunderhead activities.
– Implementation/execution of thorough unit testing and version control.
– Resolution of any issues within the Thunderhead platform.

Experience and Skills:

– Thorough experience and knowledge of Thunderhead Business Content Studio, Admin, Business Object Studio, Thunderhead Job Manager Console, Diagnostic consoles and Contribute Now
– Experience in Java/J2ee, XML, Web services and JSON
– Thorough knowledge of all relevant coding languages (including database admin, XML, MYSQL, JSCRIPT).
– Prioritization skills to hit deadlines.
– Confidence to communicate ideas effectively to brand managers and senior management.
– Ability to creatively think around a brief and challenge it if necessary.
