Job Description
- Windows Administration experience with knowledge of AD, VMWare and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (at least 1000+ Servers).
- Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 , Win2K8 , Win2K12 and Win2k16 Servers.
- Working experience of on Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of MSCS.
- Experience on Installation, configuration of Linux and managing server using command lines.
- Advance Level knowledge of Switching and vlan, NIC Teaming, Security policies.
- Working experience on Upgradation of ESX server from 6.X and 7.X • Working experience in SRM and Vsphere replication.
- Working experience in VMWare horizon environment.
- Troubleshooting experience on ESX servers using Command Line is a must.
- Working experience on VMware Consolidated Backup, Update Manager, Enterprise Converter.
- Design & Implementation of Active Directory.
- VMware ESX Management, Patching and Troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting Hardware, OS & AD related issues.
- Experience in handling snapshot.
- Experience in working with FC SAN is essential. Added advantage knowledge on ISCSI,NAS.
- Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue.
- Exposure to complete Patch Management process of testing, deployment, patch level reports, etc.
- Fine-tune Windows servers for optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment.
- Working knowledge/awareness of one or more of the following is essential:
- 1. Active Directory
- 2. File and Print Services
- 3. Backup
- 4. Windows Clustering
- 5. Monitoring and Management tools like HPOVO, SIM (System Insight Manager), IBM Director, BMC Patrol, NetIQ, Dell Open Manage , HP ILO.
- Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
- Must have aptitude and attitude to learn/work on new technologies.
- Should be an MCP or MCTS in Windows 2012 or above. MCSE/MCSA or MCITP is preferred.
- Should be certified in VCP (VMWare) is preferred.
- Migration or consolidation at domain/forest level.
- Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning for AD.
- Design and Architecture of Active Directory, including DC Placement, Roles assignation.
- Handling Level 3 issues pertaining to AD Replication, and DC Restoration, would be an added advantage.
- Data Center management and people management experience would be an added advantage.
