You might have seen adverts for entry-level jobs or any other job you think you are suitable for. Still, they require three to five years of experience, which you are discouraged from applying for. However, this is always not the case. In this guide, we will look at how to gain the work experience you need, confront your lack of experience in interviews, and why you have more experience than you believe. This will allow you to overcome the experience barrier and land the job you desire.

You may have more experience than you think for IT jobs in Sri Lanka. However, you may not have experience doing the literal job described. However, that doesn’t mean you lack experience.
