Job Description

• Must have experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x & 7.x
• Must have experience of SuSE Enterprise Linux 11.x & 12.x
• Various Methods of OS Installation (Disk or Ignite)
• Understanding of Configuration and administration of Ignite Server
• Knowledge of various disk based file-system (VxFS)
• Knowledge of network based file-systems (NFS, CIFS)
• Knowledge of Apache / httpd
• Configuration and administration of NFS Server
• Knowledge of AutoFS
• Knowledge of swap (primary, secondary – addition, deletion)
• Knowledge of Linux system crash types (kdump, SOS, etc.) , analysis of /var/adm/crash and core files for troubleshooting and addressing the failure issues with Vendor
• Strong Knowledge of Logical Volume Manager
• Knowledge of Various Raid Configuration (RAID 0/1/5/0+1/1+0)
• Patch Management
• Good knowledge of RHEL & SuSE Linux security and hardening
• Management and Troubleshooting of at least one Centralized Authentication Service (LDAP, IDM, NIS)
• Knowledge of Online/Offline backup methods using native utilities.
• Print-Server Configuration and Print queue Administration
• Troubleshooting Experience
•  Good hands-on Bash and ksh Shell Scripting
